Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a class or rental reservation more than 48 hours before your reservation we will issue a full refund.
If you cancel a class or rental reservation within 48 hours of your reservation, we will issue a 75% refund.
If weather conditions are unsafe or will impede learning, we will reschedule or fully refund private classes.
Equipment Rental Policy
By renting with Maine Paddling Connection, you are agreeing to the following policies:
All paddlers will sign a waiver at the time of drop-off
Kids under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian
All paddlers will wear a personal flotation device (PFD) while paddling our paddle boards or canoes
All paddlers agree to not operate the canoe/sup in a reckless manner
All paddlers agree to operate within their abilities. Quality equipment isn’t a substitute for experience, technique or good judgement
We require a damage deposit at time of rental
You will inspect rental equipment before accepting delivery and will not accept it if you don't think it's in good condition
Rental equipment will be returned in the same condition. Normal wear and tear is okay.
Damage beyond normal wear and tear that needs repair will be given a conservative repair estimate at time of pickup
Renters will be charged $1000 per sup for equipment that is lost, stolen or destroyed beyond repair
All paddlers agree to keep all rental equipment in their custody and will not sublease or re-rent any equipment rented from Maine Paddling Connection.
All paddlers agree that Maine Paddling Connection has the right to terminate an equipment rental if renters are found to be operating in a reckless manner or if endangering the well-being of others.
